It is not a falking piece or a missed piece, it is likely a small contaminant in the chrome solution that adhered to the frane when it cane through the process. The rest of the frame is quite amazing withoiut issue.

The full 4130 Chromoly 1988 specification RL 20 II Prostyler Frame, Fork (with threaded pegs), and Redline Vintage Forklifter Handlebar are built to authentic era standards. The fork features the lower standing peg placement. The rear brake routing passes through a triangular flange behind the seat mast. Two posts under the seat stay accommodate the AD 990 U Brake caliper. The chrome plating is stunning, and the decals stand out like an ‘80s BMX Freestyle bike should. This might be the ultimate 1980s Freestyle bike – the 1988 RL20 II showcases innovative geometry, excellent braking, and the iconic outline of the unmistakable, all-conquering Redline RL 20 II Prostyler.
