Modeled on the original and wildly popular Anlen poroduced Fluted Layback sweat posts released in the mid 1980s, this seat post is available in 22.2mm diameter (7/8”) for one inch seat tubes. The Fluted Anlen post was specified on Redlines and the Haro, among others, Freestyle range of the mid to late 1980s and was enjoyed by pro and amatuer riders for its excellent geometry, subtle bend radius, and classic sleek chrome appearance. It doesnt look gimmicky or raked out, it looks correct and suits taller riders or those who prefer more space in the top tube area.
The fluting depth is accurate - achieved through CNC - and the post is built from Chromly steel. There are some mild tooling marks in the groove, but the chrome is beautiful and the seat post is as authentic as you will find in the reissue marketplace.
